According to a statement released by Fidelity bank, one of its staff who just returned from the United Kingdom, from a holiday vacation have just tested positive to the Corona Virus. Immediately the individual got back, he went on a mandatory 14 days Isolation (Which is a strict policy of the bank, for anybody that must travelled to any of the Countries battling Covid-19 in Europe), his test result came out, and it was revealed that he is Corona Virus Positive.
Also, according to the statement released by the bank, two of it's staff who had accepted some gift items from the individual, have also been put on self Isolation and their office closed down temporarily. The bank which is situated at the Secretariat in Abuja, has also been closed down and all it's staff are now on self Isolation.
Yesterday, the 26th of March, two new cases were reported in Abuja, don't know if the Fidelity bank staff is among, but then the good news is that,according to NCDC, 6 people have recovered from it and will be discharged today the 27th of March, the Nigerian Government have really been taking so many measures to curb the pandemic and it's safe to say, that they have been doing a great job at that.
